The House of Worship began in 2004 in Knoxville, TN, as a small community of believers with a big vision: to passionately seek the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. As God continued to bless and grow the ministry, the church family moved to its current home in Oak Ridge, TN, in 2010.

We are a non-denominational, multicultural church committed to following Jesus Christ and living out His mission to ‘make disciples of all nations’ (Matthew 28:19). As part of the Evangelical Free Church of America—a fellowship of independent, congregational churches across the United States—we share a heart for biblical truth, spiritual growth, and authentic community. Everything we do flows from our desire to know Him deeply and to help others experience His transforming love.

At The House of Worship (HOW), everyone is welcome. No matter your background, past, or present struggles, you’ll find a community where grace abounds and Christ’s love is real. Together, we are learning to love, teach, and build each other up in faith as disciples of Jesus.

Like the Apostle Paul, we press forward—“forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead” (Philippians 3:13). We believe God meets us right where we are and walks with us as we grow in Him.
