"Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed."
~ Proverbs 19:17
The House of Worship is partnering with the Office of Faith-Based and Community Engagement (OFBCE) to serve families in need right here in Oak Ridge. When a need is identified in our local area, families are referred to us, and we’re honored to help meet that need from our storehouse of household goods, clothing, and other essentials.
This is what it looks like to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community: neighbors caring for neighbors, and the local church showing up in practical, tangible ways.
How You Can Help
There are three ways you can be part of meeting a need:
Pray. Pray for the family in need.
Give. Your financial gift can go toward a specific request, or into our general storehouse fund – which The House of Worship will apply to needs as they arise.
Donate Items. If you have gently worn or used items that can benefit someone else. Please send an email to [email protected] or call at 865-272-3703 to schedule your drop off times.
Your generous prayers, financial gifts, and item donations helps us keep saying yes when a family reaches out.
Using the form below, you can donate cash to the effort, or you can bring your gently used household items to the church.
